A speaker element that reproduces the low-end frequencies is the Woofer. Woofer or bass speaker is a type of loudspeaker that only produces low frequencies. It came from the dogs bark word "Woof" which pertains to the deep and heavy sound of a dog. The Woofer is larger than Tweeter, another type of loudspeaker but it produces high frequencies sounds.

Unlike the common speakers that can produce or deliver different frequencies, woofer has restrictions. It only deliver low frequencies sounds, not high frequencies sounds.The Woofer works by using electromagnetic system. The design of it has voice coil surrounding by magnetic field. Also, there are different types of Woofer. These are the woofer, subwoofer. and midwoofer. Woofer is broad-spectrum. mid-woofer cannot attain lowest frequncies of the woofer but only the higher frequencies of it while subwoofer focuses on a small portion of sound waves and it produces lowest frequencies.

Woofer can help people to meet the audio requirements that they need. Mostly if people needed a low frequencies sounds. Woofer plays a vital role in terms of making the sounds more enjoyable to hear. Understanding the function of Woofer will help people to gain more knowledge about it and will lead for proper use of it. It helps to prevent producing inappropriate sounds.
